High School Musical 2 (2007)

High School Musical 2 is a sequel to the Emmy-winning Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical. The film has been shown in America on August 17, 2007. A third (cinema) movie was released in 2008. The film was shot in Salt Lake City and St. Georgia both located in USA. On August 17, 2007, the film was shown on American television on Disney Channel. 17.2 million Americans saw the movie which is a new record for a Disney Movie. It was therefore also the most watched TV movie ever.



In the United States, the DVD of the film was in stores on December 11, 2007. Around the same time they released the bluray of the film. The film was in fact recorded in High Definition. The HD version was shown by DIRECTV few days after the TV release. The film was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Best TV film.
